Hi, I’m Teagan, a yoga teacher specializing in vinyasa, with a passion for physical movement and mental well-being. My journey began at 13 when I was introduced to yoga by Lorilyn! My practice deepened during the pandemic when yoga became my sanctuary for healing… 3 years later I am now beginning my yoga teacher journey to help my students find their inner warrior which is their resilient, and balanced self!
With a background in athletics and an Associate’s degree in Psychology, I teach a holistic approach that integrates breath, movement, and meditation to nurture both the body and mind. In my free time, you’ll find me at the ranch working with horses, skiing on the mountain, spending time outdoors or with my friends and family, or of course joining a hot yoga class. Join me on the mat to discover your balance, resilience, and inner peace.
Ileene grew up in South Florida and has worked in the health industry as a teacher and trainer for over 30 years. She is also a RN which brings deep knowledge about anatomy and health to her teaching. In Florida, she owned a fitness studio called Body Voltage, and worked with all ages, dedicated to increasing their health and happiness.
As many of us do, she took a fateful vacation to South Lake Tahoe and fell in love with the basin, and eventually moved here to start a new life! She worked alongside her partner for over a decade in a chiropractic office, running the office and teaching therapeutic yoga and wellness. She has since retired, and now helps her community by teaching locally at Kahle Community Center, Regan Beach, The Tahoe Keys and now at Tahoe Rising. In her free time, she hikes with her spunky and adorable doodle pup, Keanu. She swims, dances, skiis and enjoys the Tahoe Lifestyle-and also spends time in Hawaii whenever possible!
Ileene feels the biggest benefit in yoga for her is helping calm and train the mind. She holds certificates in yoga, massage and dance.

Stress and Trauma Release Yoga, and Yin Yoga.
I grew up in Colorado, where a love of nature, yoga, meditation, Buddhism and psychology became my guiding foundation. I was a police officer in the Bay Area for 12 years, specializing in crisis intervention, critical incident stress management and community mental health. A back injury changed my career course and I returned to mountain life, moving to South Lake. Now I work for a non-profit that treats traumatic stress in first responders. My own journey to manage chronic pain led me to teaching yoga. I am working towards my RYT 500 and am additionally certified as an instructor with Yoga Shield/Yoga for First Responders. I am passionate about helping others heal stress and trauma through yoga and is focused on Yin yoga.

I started my yoga journey as an outlet for cross training in preparation for running half marathons. I dove deeper into the practice after completing my BS in Kinesiology, the study of body movement, at California State University San Marcos. In 2017, I completed my RYT 200 hour training at Mantra Yoga & Juice Bar in Carlsbad. I have a knowledgeable background in proper body mechanics and alignment. Since becoming a yoga teacher, I have completed my SUP Yoga Teacher Training at Floating Yogis. Recently, I received my RYT 300 through the Soul Of Yoga, and am currently working towards my Yoga Therapy Certification to help individuals on their healing journey through pranayama, asana, and meditation. I love how yoga gives me the opportunity to be creative and connected to the mind, body, and soul. I would like everyone to receive the wonderful benefits that can come from the practice. When I am not practicing yoga, I enjoy snowboarding, hiking, wakeboarding, SUP, mountain biking, and staying active. I love to travel and lead a life filled with adventures.
